Wendi + Jordan

Jordan & Wendi’s Tibble Fork Reservoir Elopement | Mount Timpanogos, Utah

A stunning Utah elopement at Tibble Fork Reservoir beneath Mount Timpanogos. Captured by Jackson based elopement photographer Angie Whitney - filled with family, emotion, and mountain beauty.

High in the Wasatch Mountains, where the air smells of pine and the peaks of Mount Timpanogos tower proudly above the valley, Jordan and Wendi shared a day that felt straight out of a dream. They chose Tibble Fork Reservoir, a crystal-blue alpine lake tucked deep in Utah’s American Fork Canyon, for their intimate elopement - surrounded by only their closest family and friends.

From the moment I arrived, the energy was pure joy and calm. The mountain air was cool, sunlight danced on the water, and laughter echoed softly through the evergreens. There was no rush, no stress - just two people deeply in love, grounded by the beauty around them.

In Wendi’s words:

“I’m so glad Angie took our photos! It was all absolutely flawless! I always felt listened to, beautiful, and without worries. I knew my day would be documented well and perfectly how I wanted!”

That’s exactly what I want every couple to feel — free to be themselves and fully present in their moment.

Jordan and Wendi’s ceremony took place along the lakeshore, the water reflecting the snow-dusted ridges above. Their families stood close, forming a quiet circle of love and support. The sound of the breeze through the aspens mixed with gentle laughter and happy tears as they exchanged vows.

As the sun began to lower, the light turned golden — spilling across the reservoir and wrapping the couple in a soft mountain glow. We took our time wandering through the forest trails and along the water’s edge, pausing often to soak in the view. Every look between them felt effortless, like two souls who’d known each other forever.

Wendi later shared:

“She always made sure we were comfortable and also taken care of along with getting her job done. By having Angie I didn’t just get a photographer, I also got a best friend, a hand to assist in all things, and a cheerleader!”

Those words mean everything to me - because elopements are about so much more than photos. They’re about connection, trust, and creating space for couples to feel truly seen and celebrated.

As the evening faded into soft mountain twilight, Jordan and Wendi’s family gathered for toasts and hugs. There was a sense of deep gratitude - for love, for nature, and for the kind of day that reminds you how beautiful simplicity can be.

“She is the best at photography and I don’t think I’ll even be able to trust or go to another photographer!”

Jordan and Wendi’s Utah elopement at Tibble Fork Reservoir was a celebration of love in its purest form - simple, intentional, and surrounded by the wild beauty of Mount Timpanogos. It was a reminder that sometimes the most breathtaking moments happen when you let nature, love, and laughter lead the way.

If you’re dreaming of an elopement that feels deeply you -filled with laughter, mountains, and meaning… I’d love to capture your story. Let’s plan your perfect day together.
